About our Tubers
- Tubers are grown with love on our micro flower farm in Pendleton, NY (Western New York).
- Dahlia health is our top priority.
- Strict adherence to tool sanitation and cleaning between each plant is an important part of our procedures on the farm.
- We have an intensive insect control plan, using organic methods, and beneficial insects to protect our plants.
- We remove any plant that does not meet our expectations.
Ordering
- Please sign up for our newsletter to be notified about sale dates. Having items in your cart does not mean they are reserved, you must check out to finalize your order. You will receive an email confirmation upon completion of your order.
- Items in your cart are not confirmed until checkout is complete. If you notice items disappear from you cart during the checkout process, it is because someone else checked out and paid for the item before you. Sorry we have no control over that.
- Dahlia Tubers are sold separately as one tuber (not a clump) with a viable eye and true to variety.
- If you purchase dahlias from us you will see they are different from dahlias that you buy at the garden center.
- Dahlias come in all shapes and sizes and some dahlia variety tubers shrivel a bit.
- All Dahlia tubers are shipped we do not offer Pickup.
- We do not refund Tuber Orders after your order is placed by you.
Shipping
- Dahlia tuber orders are shipped March- May by growing zone when risk of freezing in transit is gone. You will receive an email prior to shipping letting you know your order is on the way.
- We can not accommodate early shipping.
- We ship dahlia tuber orders in The United States (We do not ship to Hawaii and Alaska) No international orders.
- Dahlia Patch cannot be held responsible for post shipment storage and planting conditions.
- Dahlias cannot be subjected to freezing temperatures, and we will only ship as weather allows.
- You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has shipped.
- Dahlia tubers come in a bag with vermiculite and a single label per variety.
- Please your tubers immediately upon arrival. If you are not planting your tubers immediately, please re-pack them with the materials that you use to store your tubers. Each climate and environment is different, and our shipping packaging is not meant to be used to store your tubers for an extended amount of time. Use the storage method that works best in your climate.
- Shipping charge is $18 per order. This cost covers the expenses of labor, shipping charges, and the biodegradable packing materials used to cushion and protect the cuttings and tubers.
- We will do our best to combine multiple orders to save on shipping but cannot guarantee a shipping refund for multiple orders.
Refunds & Guarantee
- We do not refund dahlia tuber orders when you change your mind.
- We guarantee that our tubers will have at least one eye and be true to variety.
- Dahlia Patch will not be held responsible for loss due to weather or sub-optimal growing and storing conditions or practices.
- We do our best to grow healthy dahlias, but we do not offer a virus-free guarantee.
Terms and Conditions
- By purchasing from our farm, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
- We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. All sales are final.
- We pack each order with care, and only send the best we have available.
- Each order is documented and triple checked for accuracy and health before it ships.
- In the case of a crop failure, you will be notified by email and issued a refund for the variety that failed.
- You must contact us within 3 days of receiving your shipment, should there be any concerns upon arrival.
- Please provide an order number, pictures and an explanation of the issue you are experiencing.
- Dahlia Patch is not liable for any monetary compensation beyond a refund for the purchase price of your tubers.
- Please allow 24 hours for email communication. We check email during regular business hours.
